Well, the turnout for our September spectacular was… not so spectacular. We posted flyers around town: coffee shops, book stores, groceries, heck, I wallpapered Bardstown Rd. But, very little traffic to this here blog and only a few followers.
Bummer.
We shall persevere. As Keep Louisville Writing Grows in membership, so too will we (maybe) grow in notoriety. We’re still aiming for a connection to local readers!
I’m happy to announce that we have a new spotlighted author here at KLW. Rose Pressey is a paranormal romance author with a great list of books (with beautiful covers!) We’re pleased she has joined our cause!
On the book front, Jack has released the sequel to his zombie apocalypse I Zombie I, aptly titled My Zombie My. Heather has recently published two books: a novella, Cause & Effect and a chick lit, Constant State of Disaster.
As of now, we’re regrouping. I’m planning on having some awesome postcards drawn up to scatter about the Louisville Metro area, probably for after the New Year. These next couple of months will be busy for us writers as we aim to get another book or two out before the holidays.
Keep on reading, Louisville, and we’ll keep on writing
